BUILDING OPERATIONS STAFF

 

Job Summary:

The primary duties of the position are to keep the Community Blood Center’s facilities as clean and attractive as possible, coordinate biohazard and other trash removal, support all departments with set-ups of special meetings and events. Serve as a back-up for receptionist/switchboard as needed. Serves as back up for receiving shipments to warehouse.

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift or move heavy objects (at least 50 pounds)

Good visual acuity.

Ability to climb and walk short distances.

 

Job Specifications:

Some experience in custodial work, especially operation of floor maintenance equipment.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Excellent communications skills.
