20th annual Game for Life Blood Drive

The 20th annual Game for Life Blood Drive

CBCO’s largest Northwest Arkansas area blood drive is set for Jan. 27-31 at CBCO Donor Centers and Jan. 29 & 30 on the University of Arkansas campus

Area blood donors are getting ready again to show both their school spirit and level of caring for local hospital patients as Community Blood Center of the Ozarks presents the 20th annual Game for Life Blood Drive.  This year’s event will be held Jan. 27 through 31 at CBCO donor centers in Springdale and Bentonville as well as Jan. 29 & 30 on the U of A campus.

For almost two decades, thousands of area hospital patients have been helped by area blood donors and Razorback fans showing support for their team.  Donors have the opportunity to save lives, but also are rewarded with a custom event t-shirt and some great free pizza from Papa John’s.

“Game for Life is the signature event in our region and gives our area blood donors the chance to show their support for the Razorbacks and saving lives,” CBCO donor recruiter Lora Witcher said.  “Over the years, this blood drive has been vital to meeting the needs of area patients over the long winter months.  I know that the Hogs will be well represented during this 20th anniversary event.”
