Give Blood. Win Up To $15,000.

Resolve to save lives by routinely giving blood in 2023 and you could win up to $15,000 in prize money!

Presented by the Adam Swenka Team at Flat Branch Home Loans and The Giving Branch, the 56-Day Challenge is returning for another year — and this time it’s bigger than ever!

Everyone who gives blood, plasma or platelets in January 2023 will receive an all-new hoodie, while supplies last.

Plus, all January donors who sign up for the 56-Day Challenge and then make subsequent donations throughout the year can win VISA gift cards — with the largest rewards for those who give all year long!

Why a 56-Day Challenge?

All eligible donors can give whole blood once every 56 days, up to six times a year!

Yet most people give blood just once a year. Of all the people who donate blood to the CBCO, only 39 percent give again during the same year.

If those one-time donors gave just one more time, local hospitals would have over 17,700 additional units of blood available to help patients!

Each blood donation has the power to help up to three people right here in the Ozarks. If everyone completed the 56-Day Challenge, think of how many people could benefit!

How does it work?

But why stop there?

You can give blood up to six times a year! The Adam Swenka Team at Flat Branch Home Loans and The Giving Branch want to reward the generous blood donors who go the extra mile to help local hospital patients all year long.

That’s why they’re awarding $14,000 in additional prize money to donors who take the 56-Day Challenge and give three, four, five or six times by certain milestone days in 2023. Refer to the schedule below to find out how you could win big!

Frequently Asked Questions

Community Blood Centers’ Donor QuickPass™ is a web-based computer assisted self interview program that allows blood donors like you to answer required health history questions independently, in a private setting at a time that’s convenient for you.

You can access Donor Quickpass™ from CBCO.org on the day of your donation. Using this web-based format—accessible from any computer with internet access—you are able to answer health history questions confidentially, print out a bar-coded receipt that contains your hidden responses, and bring it with you to your donation appointment.

Your health history questions can only be completed on the same day of your blood donation. Online interviews completed prior to 12:00 AM the day of donation will be invalid and you will have to repeat the interview at the time of your donation.

Because you will have already completed your required health history questions prior to your donation, the process will potentially be shortened—reducing time away from work and personal commitments.

Yes, the only personal information printed on your donor receipt is your name. In addition, Donor Quickpass™ is designed to timeout after a period of inactivity so no one can access your confidential health history responses.

No, Donor QuickPass™ does not determine your eligibility to donate; that will be done at the time of your donation.

A Donor QuickPass™ is not the same as an appointment to donate. If you would like to schedule an appointment for a blood drive, please visit our drive locator online.

You’ll need high-speed internet access. A high quality laser printer and paper are also recommended. Some ink jet printers may not provide a high enough quality barcode for the scanners to read.
