A LifePoints Update Is Coming!

Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is proud to announce that we will soon be launching a brand-new Donor Rewards Store and LifePoints system. Donors can look forward to new features and benefits like:  

  • A New App: Donors will have access to a new app on their phones, allowing them to easily see their health information and to redeem LifePoints.  
  • Automatic LifePoint Accrual: Donors will no longer be required to register and create an account to earn LifePoints. With the new portal, points will accrue automatically for any donor. 
  • New Reward Store Options: In addition to your traditional favorites, we’ll be adding some new options for LifePoints redemption in the store!

Temporary Changes During Upgrade

While we get our new Donor Rewards Store upgraded, there will be a few changes regarding how LifePoints are redeemed and earned:  

How to Earn LifePoints

This won’t change! You’ll still get LifePoints with every donation.  If you have questions about how many LifePoints you have, or if you’re concerned about earning LifePoints from a specific donation, email us at , or call 417-227-5000.   

How to Redeem LifePoints for Gift Cards

While the store is unavailable, donors will be unable to redeem LifePoints for gift cards. However, donors will continue to earn LifePoints on every donation, and there is no cap on the amount of LifePoints you can accrue while our upgrade is underway.

How to Redeem LifePoints for LifePoints Lift Charity Partners

Donors will still be able to donate to LifePoints Lift Charity Partners during the upgrade. In order to donate to a Lift Charity Partner, fill out our Lift Donation Form, and we’ll be in touch if we need more information.  

Changes to the Donor Portal

During this upgrade, the Donor Portal and the LifePoints Store will also be unavailable. For more information, take a look at our Donor Portal page.

Donation Portal FAQs

1. When will the new Online Donor Portal be available?

We estimate the new portal will be available by August, but this timeline is subject to change.

2. Will any of my past donor information be lost?

No! While the donor portal is being updated, all donor information is stored on a separate server. No information will be lost during the transition.

3. Do I still accrue LifePoints with each donation?

Yes! All donations will continue to accrue LifePoints.

4. Do my LifePoints still have a cap during the portal upgrade?

During transition, we will not cap LifePoint accrual, so you will continue to earn LifePoints without worrying about hitting a cap!  

5. Will my LifePoints expire during the portal upgrade? 

No! Your LifePoints will not expire during the portal upgrade. You will also continue to earn LifePoints with each donation. 

6. Can I use my LifePoints to support LifePoint Lift Charity Partners?

Yes! You can donate your points on our LifePoints Lift Donation Form, or you can call 417-227-5000 for assistance.
