Assistant Director, Quality Assurance

The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is seeking a professional to assist the Senior Director of Quality Assurance in all areas of QualityAssurance management.  This individual should have good problem solving skills, enjoy interacting with adults, detail oriented, excellent writing, presentation and communication skills and be computer literate.  Duties include helping to assure all aspects of quality management meet regulatory requirements for blood centers including FDA good manufacturing practices and safety regulations and AABB and CLIA regulations.

Our blood center is a nonprofit organization in Springfield, MO with five collection sites and many mobile operations.  We provide blood products to 37 hospitals. Donor testing is contracted.   A Degree in Life Sciences, Nursing or an allied health science discipline required.  Medical Technologist degree desirable.
