Here’s what’s going on at Community Blood Center of the Ozarks during August 2020, Lifesavers!
This Month’s Donor Gift
All month! All successful donors at CBCO’s four donor centers and mobile blood drives will receive a CBCO Extreme Adventure T-shirt! (While supplies last).
EXTREME ADVENTURE Blood Drive
August 17 – 28, 2020, at all four donor centers we’ll be having our Extreme Adventure Blood Drive! Donors will receive our Extreme Adventure T-shirt plus each participant will be entered in a drawing for two grand prize packages:
- A kayak, a Lifetime cooler, and a 37 North Expeditions gift certificate.
- A Wolfe Mountain prize pack including four Snowflex Park tickets and zipline passes for two.
All gifts are while supplies last. For more info about where to donate, or to schedule your appointment, please click HERE.
Aaron Goddard Memorial Blood Drive
Time for our fifth annual blood drive in memory of Aaron Goddard, a firefighter and former CBCO employee who passed away from cancer. Donors will get to choose between a Boots & Badges (emergency responder) T-shirt or our Extreme Adventure T-shirt. We look forward to seeing Aaron’s family, friends, and co-workers each year. Last year was extra special because Aaron and Linda’s oldest daughter was able to donate blood for the first time ever! This Month’s LifePoints Lift Partner Agency
It’s First Responders Month at CBCO! Instead of a LifePoints Lift partner agency, we’re honoring our first responders in our community.
Why Donate with CBCO?
Because local patients need blood and blood products. CBCO is the sole provider of blood and blood products at more than 40 hospitals in southwest Missouri, northwest Arkansas, and southeast Kansas. Curious about which hospitals rely on CBCO? Click HERE to see a list.

Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, founded in 1995, is currently the sole provider of blood and blood products for 40+ hospitals located in 39 counties across three states — southwest Missouri, northwest Arkansas, and southeast Kansas. More than 65,000 donations of blood are required each year to meet the transfusion needs of our friends and neighbors. We at CBCO take the responsibility of providing that blood very seriously.
