Arkansas C.O.P.S. Blue Blood Drives
Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is teaming up with the Arkansas chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) for Blue Blood Drives in Northwest Arkansas.
C.O.P.S. is a national nonprofit organization who provides resources to the families and co-workers of the 140-160 law enforcement officers who die in the line of duty every year. Blue Blood Drives are a chance to come together and give blood in honor of the law enforcement officers who sacrifice so much for their communities.
The Blue Blood Drives will be held in honor of the more than 200 Arkansas law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty in state history.
As the sole provider of blood, platelets and plasma to over 40 hospitals in northwest Arkansas, southwest Missouri and southeast Kansas, CBCO is proud to partner with Arkansas C.O.P.S. for these special drives. For every successful blood donation made at a Blue Blood Drive, CBCO will donate $10 to Arkansas C.O.P.S. Donors will also receive a limited-edition Blue Blood Drive T-shirt, while supplies last.
Each pint of blood collected can also help save the lives of up to three people right here in the Ozarks. Roll up your sleeves, support our local law enforcement agencies and give the gift of life!
