Donating blood is a boo-tiful thing.

We currently are in a Code Yellow for many blood types, so howl about coming in and donating? We have less than a two-day supply of blood on our shelves for our 39 area hospitals.

Dr. Acula is in the building.

This Halloween, the UMKC School of Pharmacy will partner with  Community Blood Center of the Ozarks to provide FREE medication reviews and diabetes screenings from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, only at our Don Thomson Donor Center in Springfield. Bring your bottles or a list of your medications to Community Blood Center of the Ozarks and ensure your blood is ready for all the vampires and ghouls that come out this season!

This service is open to all community members. Please feel free to invite your friends, family, and neighbors who may benefit from this program.

*Costume restrictions apply: Donors must not conceal faces or inner arm area for donation purposes. Community Blood Center of the Ozarks maintains weapon-free campuses, including toy weapons. In other words, you must show bare arms, and cannot bear arms.
