Most blood donations take less than an hour — and can help as many as three people!
It takes 200 blood donations a day to meet the needs of hospitals across the Ozarks.
People who donate blood this fall can receive free zoo tickets, a free Chiefs T-shirt — or both!

That’s right! Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is offering some incredible rewards for the generous individuals who donate blood, plasma or platelets between August 1 and November 30, 2023. Read more about these Fall 2023 promotions below, then find a place to save lives in your community!

August & September

The Dickerson Park Zoo is celebrating its 100th birthday this year — and Community Blood Center of the Ozarks donors are invited to join the party!

While supplies last, anyone who donates blood, plasma or platelets to CBCO between August 1 and September 30, will receive a free T-shirt and a voucher redeemable for TWO FREE GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS to the Dickerson Park Zoo in Springfield, Missouri — a $34 value!

Note: Zoo admission tickets valid through July 31, 2024. No other discounts or coupons apply.

October & November

You can donate whole blood, the most common type of donation procedure, once every 56 days.

Once you become eligible to donate again, come back and give between October 1 and November 30. All successful donors during these two months will receive a special Kansas City Chiefs “3X Champs” T-shirt, while supplies last!

Plus, all October and November donors can enter for a chance to win two tickets and a parking pass to Kansas City’s December 31, 2023, game against Cincinnati — an $870 value!
