Recruiting enough donors to maintain an adequate blood supply for patients in the communities we serve is an ongoing effort. Patients at over 40 hospitals served by the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks require more than 200 donations every day.  Unfortunately, while 60 percent of the population is eligible to give blood, only 5 percent choose to do so.

“No one ever asked me” is the main reason non-donors haven’t rolled up their sleeve.  Most of us will need a blood transfusion at some point in our lives. That means that you, your family, and your peers will need the support of volunteer blood donors.  Won’t you consider this your personal invitation to give life to your community?
