Congratulations on making the decision to help save a life by giving blood! Before you make an appointment, please be aware of our eligibility guidelines. To give blood, donors must:
- Be at least 17 years of age (16 with a parental consent form)
- Weigh at least 110 pounds
- Be in good health on the date of their donation
While an estimated 62 percent of the population is eligible to give blood, certain medications, medical conditions and/or other factors may prevent you from donating. Click here or call 417-227-5006 for more information about donor eligibility.
