Give Locally. Help Globally.

Blood donors give the gift of life every day. Now those gifts will help the planet, too!

Community Blood Center of the Ozarks has committed to planting 5,000 trees this fall, with the goal of offsetting 316,500 kilograms of carbon dioxide over the next five years. For a limited time, donors will be able to track the trees that Community Blood Center of the Ozarks has planted on their behalf.

Beginning October 26, which is World Sustainability Day, our first 5,000 successful blood, plasma and platelet donors will receive a unique code that will allow them to track their tree online.

Each donor with a valid email address on their donor profile will be emailed their code within a week of their donation. They can use this code to view a photograph of their tree and see exactly where it has been planted.

GIVE TODAY FOR A BETTER TOMORROW

Through this initiative, Community Blood Center of the Ozarks aims to offset 316,500 kilograms of carbon dioxide over the next five years. This equals carbon dioxide emissions from:

GIVE LOCALLY. HELP GLOBALLY.

This initiative will conclude once CBCO receives 5,000 total blood, plasma and platelet donations. There is no set end date.

To maximize your chances of receiving a code, we recommend visiting a CBCO blood drive or donor center as close to October 26 as possible. Find a place to save lives near you by clicking a link below!
