Hungry To Help Blood Drive

Give blood. Give back.

If you’re looking to make a difference in your community, donating blood with the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is a great way to do it. This April and May, we’re rewarding all blood donors who are Hungry to Help our neighbors, friends and loved ones by offering a chance to win one of dozens of $150 gift cards to a grocery store or restaurant of their choice. A new donor will win every weekday!

A single blood donation can help save the lives of three people in southwest Missouri, northwest Arkansas or southeast Kansas, but your donation can do even more good. For every successful donation, the CBCO will donate a NEW item of clothing to a charitable organization in the communities we serve.

Here’s how it works:

Donate blood at any CBCO donor center or mobile blood drive between April 1 and May 31, 2022.

You’ll receive one of our Hungry to Help Blood Drive T-shirts (while supplies last) and your name will be entered to win a $150 gift card to a grocery store or restaurant.

Every weekday, we’ll randomly select one name from the previous day’s successful blood, plasma or platelet donors. (Note: One name from all Friday-Sunday donors will be drawn on Mondays.)

We’ll contact the lucky lifesaver, learn their favorite grocery store or restaurant and coordinate gift card delivery or pick-up. (Some restrictions apply, click here to view official rules.)

For every blood, plasma or platelet donation during the Hungry to Help Blood Drive, the CBCO will donate a new item of clothing to a local charity.

By making a donation during this drive, you’re not only helping up to three hospital patients. You’re supporting organizations committed to help neighbors, friends and loved ones in our communities.
