The double or triple platelet you donate helps ensure that even more lives are saved by ensuring our hospitals have the vital products they need.

Type O Negative blood donors and type AB plasma donors represent a very small percentage of the overall population, yet they provide the universal blood types most often used in emergency situations. Community Blood Center of the Ozarks calls these special people U-Donors, short for universal donors. U-Donors have some U-nique LifePoints advantages, and can earn progressively higher LifePoints for each qualifying donation in a 12-month period. Visit our U-Donor LifePoints page for more information.
