Springfield Donor Centers Merge
Community Blood Center of the Ozarks has been proud to serve donors and patients for the past 20 years and, as we enter our third decade of service to the community, we want you to know that we remain committed to our founding principles.
One of those principles focuses on cost management to help ensure that we provide service to patients at the lowest reasonable fee. It is this principle that prompted our decision to close our donor center at 2230 S. Glenstone in Springfield, effective May 6, 2016.
Your lifesaving gift is still needed for patients in our community. We invite you to continue giving blood and platelets at our Thomson Donor Center, located at 220 W. Plainview Road. To help facilitate the move to our headquarters, we are extending our donation hours. Beginning May 9, 2016, we will be open from 7 am until 7 pm during the week, 7 am – 1 pm on Saturdays and 7 am – 3 pm on Sundays!
We apologize for the inconvenience this closure may cause for you and hope that you will make the move to our Thomson donor center, along with the staff that you have come to know at our Glenstone location. As always, we thank you for giving life to your community!
